gavelCancellation, Refund, and Deferral Policy
expand_more

This policy applies only to the workshop registration fee for KIPPS Seoul 2027 International Cadaver Workshop, Symposium & WIP FIPP/CIPS Examination.

This policy does not apply to WIP FIPP/CIPS examination fees, which are administered separately by the World Institute of Pain (WIP) and are subject to WIP policies.

This program is a limited-capacity, hands-on, cadaver-based training course. Once registration is confirmed, cadavers, equipment, venue, faculty assignments, group allocation, catering, and administration are committed on behalf of the participant. Therefore, the cancellation and refund rules are strictly enforced.

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing by e-mail to the Organizing Secretariat. The refund policy will be applied based on the date the written request is received.

An administrative fee will be deducted from all eligible refunds. The administrative fee shall be 10% of the registration fee or USD 100, whichever is greater. Any applicable card processing fees, bank transfer fees, international wire fees, currency exchange fees, or other actual costs incurred may also be deducted from the refundable amount.

No refund will be provided on or after December 21, 2026. However, in unavoidable circumstances recognized by the organizer, such as illness, documented mandatory work-related schedule changes, visa denial, travel restrictions, or other exceptional circumstances approved by the Organizing Committee, a participant may request a one-time deferral of the workshop registration fee to a future KIPPS educational program or the next KIPPS Seoul workshop, subject to prior approval by the Organizing Secretariat.

Deferral does not constitute a cash refund and may be subject to availability, capacity, eligibility requirements, program structure, and registration fees of the future program. If the registration fee of the future program is higher, the participant shall pay the difference. If the registration fee of the future program is lower, no refund of the difference will be provided.

No refund or deferral will be provided for no-shows, failure to attend without prior notice, or non-attendance at selected sessions, dates, or portions of the program.

* Fees, cancellation, refund, deferral, eligibility, and administration related to the FIPP/CIPS Examination are not covered by this policy and are subject to the official policies of the relevant examination authority.
